between Second Avenue & First Avenue View Full Building Profile

Carter Horsley
Review of 345 East 93rd Street by Carter Horsley

This handsome, 32-story, apartment building was erected in 1975 and converted to a cooperative in 1985. It has 306 apartments.

The grayish-brown-brick building has a handsome plaza with seating and landscaping, and a five-step-up, canopied entrance with a concierge. It has a nice, lively location in the Carnegie Hill neighborhood.

The free-standing building, which has many good views, has a garage, a roof deck and consistent fenestration and an exercise room. It has no balconies.

There is good local shopping in the vicinity and there is good cross-town bus service on 96th Street, but the nearest subway station is several blocks away at Lexington Avenue and 96th Street.

This neighborhood has numerous schools and religious institutions.
