Review of 53 North Moore Street by Carter Horsley

This handsome, 8-story 19th Century building in TriBeCa was converted to 49 condominium apartments in 2001.

Fronting on Hudson Street between North Moore and Beach streets, this project has a loggia with an attended skylit lobby. Apartments range in size from 1,083 to 2,436 square feet and have stainless steel kitchens and stone master baths with extra large showers. Some apartments have private roof terraces and skylights. All apartments have washer and dryer units and ceilings range from 9 to 13 feet.

The building has a bicycle room, central air conditioning and a roof deck. It has no garage, no health club and no sidewalk landscaping.

The neighborhood abounds in many fine restaurants and there is good public transportation nearby.
