"Place 57, the very sleek and striking, angled, 36-story tower at 212 East 57th Street between Third and Second Avenues, is one of most attractive reflective glass-clad residential buildings in midtown.

The mid-block building occupies the former site of the Sutton Movie Theater and was erected at about the same time as Sutton 57, a 24-story non-reflective-glass-clad tower with 38 units across the street at 212 East 57th Street. Both buildings were completed in 2006. " Read Carter's Full Review

"Place 57 has a fabulous lobby adorned with Baccarat Crystal and Chandeliers. This beautiful apartment has huge floor to ceiling windows in the living room and both bedrooms. Beautiful Mahogany floor throughout the apartment. Large Master Bedroom features 3 closets and on suite master bath with a shower and a Jacuzzi. 2nd bedroom also has a private bathroom. Kitchen has corian counters and is tastefully done with a additional dining nook to follow. There is also a half bath located in the large entry way and a huge walk in closet. Washer /Dryer in the unit. Private storage unit come with the apartment. Location is great there is transportation on every block, and a Whole Foods is located across the street. The building offers great amenities which are 24 hours doorman & concierge's service , Gym, Child's Playroom, Garden & business center. This is a Must See"
